have tried different ways to import midi the last days...

(mostly because i like to compose on guitar and then translate the guitar with melodyne editor to midi)

it seemed impossible but there is a way and i just tried it and it seems to work pretty good please if someone else tries let me know how it works out for you...
anyway

first you download renoise demo version
and in renoise you can import midi just drag and drop...
then on their website you have access to tools that you use in renoise and one of them is called Xrns2XMod.
what this does is that it takes the remoise song format and turns it into MOD or XM format
and there you have it just import the the MOD file into sunsynth and there it will show up as midi to remap to whatever instrument you want...

please someone give me a gold star...

hello,

on the sunvox page, it is said it can import xm, midi etc, but when I go in the import/export menu, I can only export to wav or midi. What happened?

[EDIT] Ok, I found it, you can just import the file using the "open" menu. Maybe the import/export option should be renamed to export only?
