Preset Bank Generator 2.0.0!

Post by Logickin λ »

I decided to start a new post because the new program is a complete re-write from the original

Have you ever built an impressive module, but no one understand because it lacks some presets showing the full potential?
Have you ever suffer from hours of repetitive routing of modules just to make a preset?
Have you ever want to switch presets in real time during project play back, without setting each controllers independently?

The original preset bank generator did grant you three wishes, but... it was hard and annoying to use... Who really want to run that with cmd? who want to manually import .sunvox file in the bank metamodule? How about non windows user?!

Due to the limitation of the previous SunVoxLib and the choice of the programming language, it was not possible to make the program easier to use; however, now I can announce that these issues are now solved!

Introducing, The Preset Bank Generator Mk2!

This program has been re-written in pixilang with the latest version of the SunVoxLib, so that you can run this program everywhere as long as the pixilang VM is available. Agreed with acheney, we decided to provide an ECO system on how we manage sunsynth presets, and now this program has the following new features:

- Simple and clean GUI with descriptions, so you can use the preset bank generator with your instinct
- Export to Acheney Patch Cards, compatible with his metamodules.
- Module validation, so you don't need to worry about leaving a gap or accidentally import a wrong module in your .sunvox file
- More reliable and performant conversion process
- No more annoying workflow of manually loading core and surface logic in a metamodule
