I have some drum samples and would like to play one sample when the velocity is soft and another sample when the velocity is high. I have experimented alot to get this to work, but cant find a solution.
An example: I have two snare drum samples, one that is hitting the snare softly and another one that is hit with with full force. I want to use the midi velocity information to decide which sample is triggered.
Bonus question: is it possible to randomize which sample is played every time a note is sent to a sample module?
Split velocity range to different sample modules?

Re: Split velocity range to different sample modules?
You can mess around the CURVE2 of the MultiSynth (inside options of the Multisynth), by blocking notes with certain range of velocity:
Edit: Of course, you can make a smoother curve, so you can have a better transition between 2 samples.

Thank you so much Logickin! Your example file was just what I needed to understand how this worked.
