destructive layers?

Post by shiihs »

Hi,

I was envisioning doing a kind of "live coding" (or more accurate: "live drawing") session.

In that context I was hoping to work as follows: have one layer that provides a background sound and which loops,
and then also have one extra layer on which I can draw live.

The layer that I draw live on ideally would erase everything it has already played, so I can prepare
the next iteration while the previous one is still playing.

Is something like this possible already? Or if not, would it be possible to add a way to mark a layer as "destructive" ?

Not in the current version.

I will think about this feature! Maybe in the next update...
