AUv3 on Desktop?
AUv3 on Desktop?
I do most of my composing on my Mac, since my eyes are garbage and I need a big ol' screen to see what I'm doing. Is there any way to use the AU version of SunVox on Mac? I would love to jam a couple instances into another DAW so I can combine it with other effects and such. If not, I'll just have to cross my fingers for the VST release!

Re: AUv3 on Desktop?
I can't say for sure yet, but it looks like it's possible on the new ARM-based macs.
Re: AUv3 on Desktop?
I have an MacBook Air M1 and can report:
Sunvox downloads from the App Store but crashes as standalone. It loads as a plugin within Reaper but has problems - mostly around interaction from what I can remember. I can test things more specifically if requested.
I did notice that the Sunvox Mac binary downloaded from Warmplace runs on Mac silicon without Rosetta 2 installed.

Oh that's bad news :(Sunvox downloads from the App Store but crashes as standalone
That would be great. Thank you!I can test things more specifically if requested.
I still don't have mac with M1 to test...
Yes, it's because XCode generates x86/M1 code automatically :)I did notice that the Sunvox Mac binary downloaded from Warmplace runs on Mac silicon without Rosetta 2 installed.
