Syllabic generator

OK, this one is a bit of a reach, but I think that it could be done.

It really consists of two parts:

First, a phoneme generator by analogy with the drum module. Each key corresponds to a syllable, presumably saved in the form of a sample, or set of samples reflecting extended vowel parts, and brief consonant parts; or one sample with an information cue reflecting what parts can extend. Maybe a sonogram representation would be helpful.

Second, some kind of vocoder-like arrangement to support tuning of the output.

I know that vocoders have been assembled in sunvox, but they tend to be rather heavy and messy, and some sorts of music would do very well with synthesised song.

The combination of these two units would allow for tuned, rhythmically interesting synthsong.

If Nightradio has any comment, I'd love to hear it.
