MultiSynth Layering [RETRACTED]

Post by SolarLune » Mon May 18, 2015 10:30 pm

Hey, there. It'd be nice to have an ability to add additional notes to a MultiSynth to be played simultaneously. The idea is that you'd be able to click a + to add a voice, and then move around its pitch by semitone steps (or cents or octaves, I suppose) to a certain amount (say, a maximum of 64 steps up or down), and also alter its volume. When you play a note with the additional voice, it basically would just behave as if there was another note being played manually, with the volume specified (either in percent of the original, or in absolute). This would be nice for layering chords, rather than having to set up the MultiSynth to be linked to other multisynths repeatedly.

I think I suggested something like this before involving "Copy Modules", but I think it was more complex; this seems like a relatively simple way to go about it and should be easier to create.

Isn't it simpler to use several MultiSynths though?

Yep, it is. So this isn't needed anymore!
