Re: SUNVOX 1.9.5: DEVELOPMENT STATUS
Is there perhaps a chance of Santa bringing us a 1.9.5 betatest this xmas!?
(no stress tho, ofc! I'm just excited to see that progress bar grow )

Re: SUNVOX 1.9.5: DEVELOPMENT STATUS
Anxiously awaiting Sunvox 1.9.5!
I first found out about Sunvox last year, shortly after version 1.9.4c was released. Since then, I have become an avid user, posting some of my work on YouTube, and I am planning on using it for a school project this coming semester.
I wish NightRadio would let us know what changes he's working on before the new update is released, though. The software is already so efficient, functional, and cool as it is that it makes me quite curious what improvements NightRadio's been cooking up.

Re: SUNVOX 1.9.5: DEVELOPMENT STATUS
@Obscure, other than following bug reports and "fixed/added in next release" comments, there isn't much visibility I've noticed. Part of the excitement of SunVox releases is that there's always some anticipation involved beforehand, and some nice surprises after.
Re: SUNVOX 1.9.5: DEVELOPMENT STATUS
Agreed on the anticipation being nice
My guess is the reason Alex doesn't post what he's working on for the release is because he wants to work without engaging the feedback loop of dev-user during the time when he's not yet sure what will and won't make the release. He's really good about listening to user feedback, and also seems to be good about not letting that feedback change his vision for the best thing to focus on next. I have no idea but I imagine he tries to spend as much time as possible on what is inspiring to him. That's the only way I can imagine someone cranking out so much software and updates as he does and so consistently year after year.
Someone said the only perfect model of the universe is the universe itself, ie. you don't know what it will really take to build something until you have built it. An update that includes lots of killer features that people are really excited for might see those features get sacrificed for some essential or prudent functionality that turned out to be much harder than anticipated. Keeping the update under wraps insures that there is no disappointment if a cherished feature that was promised to be included in the next release does not actually ship with that update.

Hello! Thank you for very useful soft Sunvox. How about gpio mapping for interface buttons like a keyboard shortcuts (for RPI). Start, stop, edit-mode buttons etc. I promise to make and share a video about this feature
