"crossfade loop" in sampler doesn't do anything

unless i'm doing something wrong, the "crossfade loop" effect doesn't seem to do anything

it does, I can clearly see the waveform changing if I apply it. I don't understand/hear, what's exactly is happening.

For it to have any effect, you need to set the loop start point for something else than zero. Otherwise it doesn't change anything, since it uses the audio data before the loop start point to create the crossfade effect.

ah, okay. i just tested this

i do feel like it should use data from within the looped area. i might make a feature request for this
