MECΗ HΛVEΠ: Behind the sense 0003 - Aquila the Supersaw Module

Post by Logickin λ »

Oh no! Another supersaw module!!! I don't need it at all!!!!! [Other people screaming]

I just want to upload this, so people can see and play the full version of the module instead of the trimmed version in the compo entries.

Just in case if people don't want to see the long, boring, meaningless text, I skip it for you!

And now, it is time for the modules!
Aquila - The general purpose supersaw module:

Features:
- Carefully picked voicing number, from 2 to 13 voices, switching from input module [1-8]
(The bottom of the modules, input module, shows how the module assigns the oscillators)
- Real time detune, thanks for the glide module
- Wide range of detune level, so you can make a very intense THX sound effect
- Secondary frequency with ± 1 octave, so you can quickly layering another supersaw,
without guess where is the octave on the original analog generators
- You can control each waveform of the oscillator independently, thanks to the multiplexers mechanism
- True, Precise, and Evenly distributed stereo spread among all voicing numbers (unlike my old, failed prototypes)
- Filter control is accessible outside the module, so you can make trance arpeggios quickly.
- Built in stock EQ
- Able to change the number of voices and toggle "ECO" mode to save CPU usage

This module is different from my other modules, because I always update (or even rework) it first when SunVox gets a new update.
It has no demo for this module, since... everyone already knew what is the sound of a supersaw.

Warning:
- This module is huge in size and high in CPU usage. The module can frustrate lower ended device like cheap android phones, tablet, and raspberry pi.
- It is not recommend to "harmonic" [waveform 16] mode for this module. Unless you want your computer to become an in-efficient space heater during winter or you want an imprecise cpu benchmark tools.

Here is the module (Falco needs a rework before release):

This is actually kind of a changelog, but also a bunch snapshot for my first prototype, to shows how much SunVox has been progress since 2012 (I will try to use the corresponding version for opening my prototypes):
Hopes to give everyone a flashback.
