I wasn't sure if I would like composing this way, but I'm finding it really challenging and fun. It's forcing me to try different approaches that I probably wouldn't have thought of otherwise.

Thanks Sawzer for this excellent idea! Perhaps we could alternate between Box10's and regular sample based compo's? :)

AHHHHHH!!!!! So sooon!!!! The pressure!!! I have something at least... But it's more of an experiment than an actual song. I'll have to see if I can spend a little more time finishing it up.

P.S... Regarding your question on readability of a 128x128 thumbnail....

Image

The letters are a bit small to read, aren't they?.... . Maybe I should make a lower res version too?

The primary purpose of this logo though was to go on the bandcamp page which can take higher resolution art.

PPS... Did you ever notice that "Box 10" sounds kind of like "Boxed in"? :D

Received. So far there have been 4 entries. All are uploaded to the Bandcamp page at present.

I haven't had any more time to work on mine, so most likely it will be submitted for the compo in an unfinished state... And then I will complete the song later on :D

I myself missed the deadline. I must have forgotten that the song has to be at least 2:30... I ran out of time to work on it and I figured I could either have a copy&paste festival, or just hold off and finish the song properly later on. Plus now I won't be limited to just 10 modules :D

I have a question though -- Is voting open to anyone or just to people who entered?

Aw, man, I missed it too. Oh, well - I guess I'll just put it up on SoundCloud or something.
EDIT: It was also too short. :p

Next time you guys should really aim for weekends or so for deadlines. I'm busy pretty much all the time, but I think most people have it easier on weekends regardless.
That's what I think, anyways. :P
