Shortcuts to respond to MIDI cc values

Post by TheMonopluralist » Fri Nov 24, 2017 7:35 am

It would be useful (at least for me) if the assignable shortcuts could be mapped to different cc values, or at least to 0 and 127 separately.

A lot of midi controllers have the ability to use pads/buttons/pedals as toggles, so that they send out values of (for example) either 127 or 0, depending on whether you are turning the toggle on or off.
It would mean I could put things like "selection begin" and "selection end" on the same pad, with alternate presses, thus freeing up more controls.

As an aside, I notice that the shortcuts won't map to MIDI cc values of 0, although the "tiny green square" shows that sunvox is receiving MIDI. I don't think this is enough of a misbehaviour to go in the bugs subforum tho.

Now you can assign the CC 128 value to a shortcut. SunVox will capture the MIDI knob when you turn it to 128.
But the value 0 is not recognized yet. I will implement it in the next updates.

Cool thanks. I look forwards to that :)
