If it ends up on the pandora handheld ill be buying a license!
Great work on the new version. The demo is impressive.
Is there a chance that the controls could be user definable so that dpads and abxy buttons could be used lsdj style as well as a keyboard?

Thank you!
Sorry, but i can't say anything about pandora now... As you can see, PalmOS and Windows rules the world :)
But key redefinition - it is item in my SunVox todo list :) So.. i think, this feature will be in some new release.

Sorry, i have no plans to port it to Amiga and Java.
to sergos: the problem is SunVox distributing in form of C++ sources, so i can't make two different versions of code (Java and C/C++) - it's not an easy job.

An i-phone port was mentioned on the palm-sounds blog.

If this happened would there need to be major changes to the gui?

I never replaced my old phone with something that could run sunvox so I'm still waiting for the hardware to use it on the go. I'm more interested in something with hardware buttons but if it worked well i might switch to the iphone.

Of course, some gui elements will be changed for iphone, but not whole interface structure.
Someday OSX version will be done too :) But after iphone port...

Well I will be really interested to see the iphone one. I'll force my friend who owns one to let me try it out and see if touchscreen only control feels ok to me.

PSP has some power to it and decent memory. How plausible would a psp port be? The controls would need a MAJOR change for the platform, though...

I would think using the analog stick for mouse cursor would be obvious, but the tracker would be good to have specific controls...i.e. square + dpad = put value/change value and triangle erases value, arrow pad navigates, l/r would change channels.

I wouldn't expect this to see the light of day, but considering the PSPGo will have an app store that won't require hacking to use homebrew softs...

Hello,

will there be a Sunvox for Maemo? (maemo.org)
Maemo is a linux (debian based) handheld-OS which is for the new Nokia N900 Phone (also N800 and N810)
It shouldnt be too difficult to compile. there is a free SDK for Maemo devices...
http://www.forum.nokia.com/Tools_Docs_a ... rms/Maemo/

It would be the first music software available for the fast maemo community..and i would be the first buyer ;-)

Greetings sunny

Sunvox for Open Pandora?

www.openpandora.org

Seems like it would be perfect for sunvox. Touch screen, dual SD card slots, qwerty keyboard, runs linux!
