A crazy idea, since Sunvox is so multiplatform, why don't you try to build it with Emscripten/LLVM and compile it to JavaScript/HTML5 just for the experiment ?. Since it is SDL based, I think it could be possible.
There is already a Dune 2 port in HTML5, you can have a look at some examples here:

Supporting a modern browser as a first tier platform can give rise to some very interesting possibilities.
Imagine collaborative edition of Sunvox, where people can collaborate and make songs real time in the browser.

Checking out some of the demos of this thing. Bananabread is crazy! I had no idea a browser could display such awesome graphics Fullscreen and everything. Amazing.
