"note insert" KEY on a QWERTZ keyboardlayout?

Post by blackbird28 »

Hi, does anyone knows the "note insert" KEY on a QWERTZ keyboardlayout? the bck key works in a pattern editor.
but i canot insert a empty note(SPACE) to push down all other notes one step below.
Or is it not possible on a german keyboard layout? :o
I can live with the swaped Y - Z keys, cos i use a midi keyboard but i need this note insert hotkey.

Does the keyboard not have an "Insert" or "Ins" key? My Mobilepro 900 did not have one either, so I used Autohotkey to make a hotkey to press "Ins" whenever I press Ctrl+Backspace. :)

Tried with other keyboard or whith NumPad insert (with numlock off)? It may be that your keyboard started to die.

//edit: And we really need setting to make possible to enter notes normally on non-qwerty keyboard layouts. While swapped z/y isn't as tragic, even if you don't have MIDI keyboard, on AZERTY it can posses problem. Not to mention Dvorak keyboards...
