dub echo effect wanted

Post by leondustar »

Hi,

I was just curious if anyone succeeded in creating a proper dub echo.
You know, these massive echo's you hear in dub- and dubtechno music which fade out in a filterish way (with boosted resonance).
VST's which do similar things are: TAL dubdelay, bionic/analogic dubdelay etc.
I can try rolling my own, but i know it'll take quite some time to get the custom parameters right.
Anyone already got something similar going (and well tested?)
If so, it would be much appreciated if you would share the effect with me.

kind regards

Leon

I made one that comes with SunVox called Analog Delay. I don't know where it gets installed on Windows, but on linux it's probably: /opt/sunvox/effects/speak Analog Delay.sunsynth

I also made one...I don't know if it's like Analog Delay as I haven't looked at it, but I suspect it's rather similar...

Here it is if you want to check it out.
CLASSIC DELAY.sunsynth
Delay -> Filter -> Feedback -> Loop
