Accurate LFO Phase
Accurate LFO Phase
I noticed that the phase in SunVox's LFO "slides" when it oscillates. The LFO always starts on a new phase whenever a note ends or begins. So, is there a way to accurately start, and end, on the same phase? or is there a way to work around this?

Re: Accurate LFO Phase
Exactly, because the LFO phase is independent parameter :) It never stops. The LFO always starts on a new phase whenever a note ends or begins.
Use the "Set phase" controller to change the phase value.
Re: Accurate LFO Phase
Hmm, how do I use this "Set phase" controller? I'm not too familiar with this controller on the LFO module, so can you briefly explain its usage? Thanks for the speedy reply.

Re: Accurate LFO Phase
Just set it :)
For example, in some line of the pattern, change the "Set phase" controller to some value. For example, to 128:
Then play this pattern. And the line (described above) will reset the phase of your LFO to 128.
Min phase value is 0. Max is 256.
For example, in some line of the pattern, change the "Set phase" controller to some value. For example, to 128:
Code: Select all
NNVVMMCCEEXXYY
....1206004000
Min phase value is 0. Max is 256.
Re: Accurate LFO Phase
Ah, I see. Thanks for the extra help. I think I understand the SunVox LFO a bit better now. Thanks again, NightRadio.
