Sunvox on a Chromebook (with Android support)

Post by verplanck »

I got myself a good deal on an Acer R11 chromebook recently, and it came with the Play Store enabled. I picked up a fresh copy of Sunvox and was able to open it just fine. However, I can't seem to navigate my way to the SD card slot or to a USB drive. Is this a feature of the way Android works with Chromebooks? Anyone know a way to be able to read media in Sunvox?

May be some Play Store settings?
Actually in the latest Android versions we can't write files directly to the external card from SunVox. We only can read them. And only one place is available for writing on the card: /storage.extSdCard/Android/data/nightradio.sunvox/files/
So please also check the /storage, /mnt and /media directories

not having access to the USB-disk is a temporary limitation which will get resolved at some point.
(see https://www.reddit.com/r/chromeos/comme ... _with_vlc/)

I use both the android sunvox & ubuntu android (using crouton) on my chromebook.
The latter does give you access to your usb disk.
