Last week after much effort I completed an album comprised of 69 minimalist ambient electronic compositions. The only instrument used in the compositions is Virtual ANS.
In all it runs for close to 7 hours and is therefore very difficult to listen to in one sitting.
It is available for streaming and download (free or pay, as you prefer) at this link:

I recommend the download as it is mastered at very high quality, and is accompanied by two PDFs that will be helpful especially to those who like to understand things in terms of background and intentionality.
I am very proud of it, and am grateful to Alexander for having created the Virtual ANS instrument.
If you enjoy the album, I hope you will share it with others who may also enjoy it.
Thanks,
-Jim

Re: new album using only Virtual ANS!
Wow, it is cool! Very good news, thank you!
Right now i'm working on the next version of Virtual ANS - rewritten from scratch, much more powerful, cross-platform and optimized for real-time playing

Re: new album using only Virtual ANS!
Thank you for the compliment, and that's very good news indeed about the new version.
ANS is such a revelatory tool in terms of how one engages with the process of music making, and I love the historical dimension of it as well.
I have another album that I made using primarily Virtual ANS. It is much less minimalist in nature, and I've been holding back from releasing it on my Bandcamp site because I want to see if I might be able to get a "label" to release it. I think it is the best experimental work I have ever done. I will make sure to post about it here when it is accessible for streaming, download, or physical media purchase.
