Higher resolution automation

Post by El Nino »

It would be good to have some kind of smoother automation ( other than LFO, sound2ctrl etc. ).

Currently the automations which can be drawn into patterns are at a resolution of 1 change per line.

Maybe this is already covered by 'Envelopes for any controllers (Envelope Generator)' whch is in the to do list.

Keep in mind many controllers have 'smooth' option which interpolates the changes if you're talking about machines. All others have several values (such as slide+speed) which allow some control over the smoothness of transitions as well.

I think overall, this feature is already in there, your eyes simply are talking too much to you and you should listen to your ears. :p
