Hello!
I've created an analog generator that plays a bass line and set it to transmit MIDI out to my Volca through one of the channels on my MIDIface 4x4. When I work on my computer it plays really good and sounds very nice but when exporting to my PocketC.H.I.P the notes that are transmitted to my Volca have a completely different timing than the same bass line played by the Analog generator. It's a really random shuffle and it sounds quite terrible tbh.
What might be wrong? I don't have another USB<->MIDI to test it with at the moment..
MIDI notes coming out with very strange timing
Re: MIDI notes coming out with very strange timing
I lowered the framerate to 5 and disabled all the visually nice oscilloscope stuff, didn't make much of a differance.
Also I mucked around with the driver settings, SDL seems to be the least glitchy of them but whatever I do there's still a lot of shaky behavior with the MIDI notes. Also there are drop-outs that make my other slaved units loose sync.

Re: MIDI notes coming out with very strange timing
Please try to decrease the audio buffer size, and, maybe, switch to the ALSA from SDL.
