I think that SunVox is excellent, and I'm really looking forward to the stuff you're going to add in to it.

I have a request for it though. I've been using it on a Treo 650. It would be really useful to be able to switch instruments / sampler etc by using the hardware buttons, i.e. using the five way to move from on generator to another. I think that would be really useful in a live setting.

Thanks. PalmSounds.

Excellent news. Can I also ask if the next release will include the other items on your to do list, and when you think it might be?

I don't know how possible this is, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

How about MIDI bluetooth support (on Palm or Windows Mobile) so you could connect it to either another copy of SunVox and jam using the same clock, or use it to drive MIDI over BT to the desktop?

MIDI is not bad idea. But first new modules  please.

I have one idea too. What about little live performance mode [DJ MODE].
I mean change generator parameters during playing [KNOBS] and mixing paterns during playing song into long music set [LIKE A GAME]???

chaning parameters [knobs]

game like track [paterns] editor

Those fotos are only for illustration.
Best will be to have both in same window.

I mean something like little DJ feature in SUNVOX.

It can be 3 feature in icons [patterns ,nodes ,live set]

But first generators and effects of course and MIDI too :P...

I found this MIDI for old PALM :| http://www.physicalbits.com/Pilot/PilotMidi.htm

and another one...

http://www.minimusic.com/interface.html

Maybe it will be much easyier to do DIY MIDI than use wireless MIDI...

I thinking about DJ Mode too :) Thanks for the images!
Not sure about the MIDI, because i need the USB->MIDI converter for such things. Devices from your links are RS232->MIDI only.

That is true. It is old RS232 MIDI...

USB but only with normal plug...

I mean DJ software something like this but much much much simple version for PDA...
That waves can be patterns and that knobs can be changing parameters for generators etc etc...

The longer the to do list gets the more excited I get about the next version of the application. If I could add one other thing to the list it would be a help pdf / full documentation, especially around the sequencer side of the app.

I agree with you. Good documentation is needed. I'll add it as soon as i finish some other things from the list :)
New version of SunVox will be released soon.
