OK...Finally got the conversion to work with my old Lounge Lizard plug. Probably the best VSTi emulation of a Rhodes other than ridiculously large kontakt libraries. They get a little of that growl & bark that a rhodes can do. Here is the first of 8 different preset samples all with 8 velocity layers each. I'll eventually get to Drums, Percussion, etc.

Thanks for the work!
Is it okay to post these on Musical Android?
There is some other SunVox modules and instruments there already and thought that this would be a nice addition.

Samri...Post them wherever you feel like. Thanks for asking. I am just trying to 'refresh' the XI instrument pool as so much of it is a decade old or more plus I spent alot of time converting to different formats for my other DAWs this winter so adding the XI format just made sense. Have a good one...

Thats great as in combination with the system of making of iaon it is the first multi velocity sample instrument available for Android users!
Maybe with some small exceptions but none with this big implementation. Plus that you can kind of fake a round robin effect inside the multi synths thats inside the metamodule using random phase and a little bit of random velocity inside the different velocity layers being there already.
Okay thank you for sharing!

Yes...round robin, sort of randomizing velocities for a humanizing effect. And iaon quite clever with that module for sure. All sorted out & you're welcome.
Here is the next incantation of Lounge Lizard...Blues Comp. This'll be it for today I'm afraid...

I'm back...Forgot where I left off. Looks like rhodes modules, well, we'll take a break from that. Here are 128 pads in XI format. These were converted from the raw pad wav files so are unprocessed. You can certainly use them that way but putting effects modules behind them is what they are geared for.

So after talking to WaxingAndWaning and iaon they let me post what they have been doing in this thread at Musical Android.
So now the sample instruments and iaons template for making the five velocities into one instruments can be found here:
http://www.musicalandroid.com/downloads.html
Here is the post talking a little bit about the instruments:
http://www.musicalandroid.com/blog/atte ... nstruments

There is one or two instruments missing and at this moment have not posted the Nebulae pads yet... but will in a day or two!
It is direct downloads as the files are hosted directly at the website.
If anyone do the other instruments into Metamodules, please let me know and I would post them to.
the same if somebody does other instruments into velocity based sampler instruments (for SunVox).

Thanks a lot WaxingAndWaning and iaon.
P.S WaxingAndWaning loved that you started the velocity sampled instruments and also loved the last Nebulae pads (even though they are not velocity based) perfect to have that wide array of pads for SunVox of that caliber!

Nice job on the posting at Musical Android, Samrai Katt...Looks great. Been gone awhile, have been screwing with other DAWS that don't use XIs...Thus the slowdown. On my old PC had Ioneo Aero Studio on it which is an older tracker & piano roll DAW so did a tune with it using just VSTs-
Here- https://soundcloud.com/waxing-and-waning/apache-swagger

Too bad this DAW was never really completed or further developed. It had super workflow & could utilize VSTs. I don't believe I have ever heard another tune done in it actually posted online.
Have a collection of Drums & Percussion here. All just standard stuff. I believe there are 38 instruments in the archive-

I do have more multi-velocity sets to upload, just haven't got them organized yet. Yes, will be doing more pads 'cause I have some great pad synths....will be doing more along the lines of 'finished' pads. tricky as you must allow them to evolve but try to keep short enough as to not have astronomically large file sizes. So if I do a multi-layer split on these it will probably be no more than 3 layers.

Just a heads up.
Downloading from Zippyshare gave me a virus warning...
But in either case thanks a lot for the instruments!
Finishing a track in Caustic at the moment but am eager to do something with the pads you uploaded after this!
Keep up the good work and interesting tracks.

Must be reacting to some oddball javascript on the page or some of the garbage that is linked to it. I DLed the file & scanned it & opened it, scanned again...nothing. That's using ESET.
Here are some more Pads...

Never thought that it was your files that were the problem!
That would be absurd.
Was sure that it was the website and like you said -some garbage linked to it.

Looking forward to the new pads. Are they also from Nebulae...
These days will rip some sounds from the super expensive Prophet 12 that a friend borrowed me for a week or so.
I am using the Extreme sample converter to rip sounds but it does not have the option to convert to XI format.
What do you use to convert your patches to XI?
