Okay, so I tried to recreate with the best ability I could the classic WHAT THE... patch off the Juno which most people know as the 'hoover'.
UPDATE:
Got a much closer approximation. Learned that the PSIN is actually what I was looking for! The sub oscillator is still a PWM Square because that's how the original works.
I also used vibrato as the pitch controller and made a dry/wet slider for the thickness/chorus.
I think this version sounds more authentic. It's not perfect, but nothing matches the original Juno anyway! If nothing else, you'll find sampling this even useful as you can do things with this hoover the original can't do, pitch wise. Play around with the sliders and make psycho rave a reality!

I love it too.
It is instantly recognisable as a hoover yet distinct as well (I prefer this as classic hoover samples are already around)
